CareLit began with a vision to help people needing healthcare services but wish to live independently in the comfort of their own home. My compassion and desire to support those who have advanced healthcare needs grew stronger as I witnessed families unable to provide the needed care for their loved ones despite making sincere efforts. I experienced first-hand how demanding such efforts could be when my father developed dementia and became completely dependent on my mother who became his primary caregiver. While living in the US and far away from my parents, I felt completely lost as they were enduring immense difficulties. I desperately sought reliable support and care for my ailing father and at the same time wanted to provide relief to my mother.
